a lil' birdie told me..

that i need a little "nina plate..."

i'm pretty sure that lil' birdie was right. i just have to find one.. or i guess make one??

upon a closer look, i discover that whatever makes a "nina plate" a "nina plate" has a mixture of modern with vintage. at least that's what it looks like to me.

i'm still sure that i need one. =)

latest project..

something simple.. but i can finally say that MAYBE, just maybe i'm in a lil' bit of a creative mood again..

my daughter has been wanting a strawberry shortcake (ssc) pillow for

her bed..

she's a die hard ssc fan! LOL

sO.. i made her one last night..

just a lil' something to start getting my creative juices flowing.

i have LOTS of clothes, fabrics, scraps.. that need to be re-purposed into something useful or beautiful (maybe a decoration..)

this pillow is made up of two of my daughter's old shirts, that she didn't care much for.. and an old sheet that i used to make an angel costume out of YEARS ago. LOL..

i'm planning to make LOTS of projects out of old clothing, fabric scraps, etc., stay tuned. ^_^

happy BELATED thanksgiving!!

wow.. i'm late in wishing you a happy thanksgiving! didn't mean to be.. but, i DID spend the entire day cooking, cleaning, hosting, and.. well... cleaning! =)

anyway.. if you recall... a couple weeks ago, i found a neat craft with paper cups used to make turkeys.. i thought i'd try the craft with my kids.. and i'm glad to say that our turkeys were amaZingly adorable!! ^_^

my kids insisted on making non-conventional turkeys.. i think they're wonderful!! .. oh yea, the turkeys are, too! ;-)
