i discovered these sweet wreath concepts that are very pretty.. thinkin' of makin' one, but it's way more complicated than just choosing one.. turns out i'd like to make sumthin a lil' less perfect..

irregular makes a wreath look a lil' more realistic, no?

sOo.. i went thru the wreaths and grabbed my picks that i thought combined would make the *perfect* door adornment..

leaves! sweet lil' idea.. but they need to be more than one color.. in *my* opinion.. 

sOo.. add pops of color like this one has!

& these flowers in varying sizes would be awesome...

it's been a while, once more.. and honestly, i don't have much to type for my absence. i've been in very much a rut.. 

it goes something like this: 

no creative inspiration.. no drive.. no initiative.. no this.. no that..

.. even feeling like i'm the ONLY one in my predicament.. THEN i spoke to a friend the other day who shed some *light* on my situation..

i'm NOT the ONLY one.. 

i drew this lil' doodle to sum things up.. i FEEL like the lil' guy on the right LOOKS.. lol...

it just feels that way. & that's the way the enemy of my soul would like for me to feel.. like i'm the only one who goes thru stuff.

meh.

i heard a preacher say once, "being a Christian is NOT hard, it's IMPOSSIBLE!"

& he was absolutely right. being a REAL Christian requires Christ's intervention continually.. & as we all who are His know.. that takes LOTS of denying of my own selfish tendencies to embrace the will & purposes of my Lord. & in the process.. i throw lots of tantrums.

but, hey.. i'm bein' honest. 'cuz He knows that i wanna be more like Him. by HIS grace.

well.. honestly, i realized how much i was missing out on exploring my inner adventurous, creative self.

i LOVE etsy. the place is an amaZing haven of inspiration, exploration, and encouragement..

but u can't just be inspired to explore & get encouraged..

which is what happens to me a lot of times during my creative adventures.

i get my *fix* just by lookin' at what other people have done, admiring THEIR creative geniuses & then feelin' sucky for not tryin' my own hand @ fun stuff..

two NEW dresses for friends.. one is back for a second go-round! i'm happy about them, but realizing with my schedule that i'm craZy for saying yes.

*BUT* we can ALL afford a few strips of polyester scarves cut and braided together to hang from our ceilings..

OR.. some old yarn tied around some "found" vessels to put on a dusty shelf..

some old bandannas from the thrift shop shredded to wrap around SOMEthing useful.

today i "talked" to a long, lost friend thru text.

about being creative.. or not.

i get inspired like ALL the time. i have so many unfinished projects.

we have to encourage ourselves.. being patient, yet adventurous and daring is so important.

sometimes i'm scared..
