feelin' yuck. caught a bug..

not that i wanted to. it was more like one flew in my throat & got stuck there.

i don't like bugs.

BUT.. in the meantime, i found sumthin fun i can do with my only girl..

she LOVES doin' her nails..  i've never really been into the whole manicure thing.

but if this idea works, my manicure attitude may just change..

i think this looks amaZingly purtyy..  <3

i'm really loving the way Raina Kattelson decorated her home! my husband's photography side forbids painting any walls green.. and i DO agree with him.. in pics, people tend to look kinda sick!

but, her paint mixed with the awesome colored vases and vessels on her shelves make the room look amaZing!! i'm all for color! i think my mood is definitely affected depending on the colors that surround me.

don'tcha think bright colors almost SCREAM "cheer up, homie!" =)

i've had my own issue with hoarded designs that never "do" anything for anyone but myself, because, i didn't want anyone to "steal" my ideas..

what a joke.

oddly enough, as King Solomon would say, "there's nothing new under the sun"

this, i dare say, is VERY true. most things that i've designed or created, i've found that someone else made it famous or, available.. heh heh..

sO.. i'm pretty proud of this particular "copycat"

the artist himself may not agree, but i think that her "knock-off" is much more enjoyable!

check out the texture of the second pic.. and the actual painting (the first).. colors are much more brilliant, but i like the fact that the copycat used fabric remnants.. i'm all about repurposing fabrics to create new art.. =)
